What is most unique about Bel Canto though is that alongside fast-tracked learning, there is a strong focus on enjoyment! The camp schedule offers exciting and engaging musical pursuits but also allows plenty of time for play, sport and other recreational activities. The overall aim is for kids to have a great time making music and making new friends. Students can build their confidence and skills while also making fantastic memories and friendships.

Operating since the 1980's, Bel Canto Music has been experienced and enjoyed by thousands of students & developed into the exciting and hugely popular camp on offer today. During the holiday camps or weekly community band, students are taught by Brisbane's best teachers. This focussed period of learning and development is so successful that it is equal to six months of tuition at school!
Musical Director's Notes
Evan has been involved with Bel Canto Music since being introduced by his teacher in 1998 when he began the clarinet. Bel Canto Music ignited a passion and desire and since, Evan has taken his music around the world, culminating in him directing and conducting at the prestigious Royal Albert Hall.
Evan attributes his desire to teaching the next generation of musicians to his involvement with Bel Canto Music as a young student. He still has strong friendships with those he met as a student many years ago.
Evan hopes he can foster the same passion within the current students of Bel Canto Music.
