Code of Conduct

Acceptance into the camp is on the basis of full participation. Students are expected to attend all rehearsals, tutorials and activities.

No students are to leave the camp without written permission from their parent or guardian. This must be given to a director at the commencement of the day.

Bel Canto Music Inc’s duty of care is during the official camp time while on camp premise. Parents are responsible for their child all other times.

Students are to show respect to their tutors, all instruments and property. Any damage will be the responsibility of the students involved.

Instrument cases and personal property must be clearly named. Students are encouraged to leave unnecessary valuables at home.

Bel Canto will not be responsible for instruments left overnight.

Hats must be worn during outdoor recreation time. Sunscreen will be supplied and is recommended for all students participating in outdoor activities.

Appropriate footwear suitable for recreational activities must be worn at all times. No bare feet.

Students must not be in rehearsal rooms without supervision, this includes the stage.

Gum, alcohol, cigarettes and illicit substances are strictly prohibited.

No food or drink to be consumed in the classrooms.

There are designated areas for lunch and morning tea breaks.

All rubbish must be placed in bins provided.

Dress for the concert will be Bel Canto performance shirt (blue logo) with black trousers or skirt and black shoes and black socks.
